Day worked fine. I placed it in the bottom corner to comply with CA law. It sticks firmly to the windshield. I used it to keep my phone on for 30 minutes. At the end of the day, the thing just fell apart. The coil or spring is released and the base separates from the rest of the arm. Luckily that didn't happen while driving. When it works, it works as expected. It keeps the phone where you need it. That's the crap that could have caused the problem.
