Review on DALSTRONG Steak Knives ThyssenKrupp Straight Edge by Anna Dominguez

I had an inexpensive knife set of 8 serrated steak knives. I hate serrated steak knives, they tear more than they cut. Dalstrong steak knives cut great! It is a strong knife, of good size and weight, and very sharp. They cut our steaks so easily my roast seems better! I bought them in the Memorial Day weekend sale, so I got a very good price: $54.77 for a set of four. I bought two sets, thought I would give one as a gift, but loved them so much I'm going to keep all eight for myself! As for durability. I've only had it a few days so I can't give it 5 stars yet. But the steel has a pleasant sound, a strong ringing when tapped. The sound is noticeably better than my old knives. I hope that makes sense. They were wider than my old knives, so they didn't fit the block of wood. I looked at the block and saw excess wood between the slots so I took a long jigsaw and was able to widen the slots. and these Dalstrong knives fit. Each knife was in its sheath which was good but now I'm trying to figure out where I can find another use for them. My biggest problem is keeping my wife from putting them in the dishwasher. High-quality knives should be washed by hand, the dishwasher knocks knives against other cutlery and damages the blade. To me these are quality knives and hand washing isn't a big deal to protect them. I have previously purchased a DALSTRONG Serrated Offset Bread & Delicatessen Knife - Gladiator Series - 8". This is a very good knife too. The reach helps your hand stay above what you are cutting. And it is very sharp too. I like Dalstrong knives, they make knives 5 stars!
