Pros: Thin enough for my 3/8 inch ceiling. The beautiful design with a large, slightly recessed lens gives it a better look compared to other LED lights you can find on Amazon. Big con: A few years ago I upgraded to Lutron Maestro touch dimmers for LEDs. They worked very well, gradually increasing the brightness and dimming the previously installed lamps. I've used them for many different LEDs and it always prevents flicker issues. After all, they are designed for LEDs. These lights are triac dimmer compatible. The manufacturer encloses a list that he has tested. Lutron Maestro wasn't on the list, but so are triac-based dimmers. On the Maestro switch, these lights will flash brightly once and then slowly increase in brightness. I'm upset because these dimmers are $60 each. Replacing the dimmers with one of the standard (disgusting) sliders, as the manufacturer points out, would mean I was throwing away $360 on newer dimmers and buying $240 on new ugly dimmers to control lighting under $100.
