You have to cut a 6" hole to install them. I highly recommend buying a hole saw. I installed 3 and hung them up until I got the saw. This beautiful clean light really brightened up our bathroom.

Easy to install. good light. Bought 10 and installed. A week later there were 2 failures. I don't think they sell smaller quantities so I had to order 10 more to replace the 2 bad ones. All in all, I want you to have her back.

The light is very easy to install and very bright. We have just renovated our entire house and installed over 40 lights and they have worked great so far. Of the 48 lamps I bought, only one didn't work properly. Otherwise they are great.

Fairly easy to install, works great and gives lots of light. Replaced a number of light fixtures throughout the house and added them to the basement lighting. This set was a lot cheaper than the ones I find in nearby stores and worked great. Watch your fingers, the clamps are like mousetraps. Snapped a few times.

Pros: Thin enough for my 3/8 inch ceiling. The beautiful design with a large, slightly recessed lens gives it a better look compared to other LED lights you can find on Amazon. Big con: A few years ago I upgraded to Lutron Maestro touch dimmers for LEDs. They worked very well, gradually increasing the brightness and dimming the previously installed lamps. This is a really great and economical way to access overhead lighting for little money. There is plenty of room in the boxes for wiring (I managed to get two 12/3 white/black/red/ground wires or 8 12 gauge wires - and wire nuts! Note: add the wire on the right , not the end). I chose daylight and wow they light up the room. Also, the lights themselves are installed in a fairly deep hole - I had to install the light in holes that had 1/2 drywall, 1/2 plaster, and 1/4 lathe (I got lucky). It's…

i wanted to install them in our house which was built in 1970. The house is great but each room only had one central light and some rooms only had a ceiling fan with small candle bulbs that gave off very little light. These are the best types of recessed lights to install since the actual light itself is no thicker than drywall.
