Yes it works! Very comforting!

Good good product! I had irritation in my new double helix cartilage piercing. Mainly because the piercer didn't have studs and I had to get hoop piercings to keep them twitching. On top of that, my little boy can't stop banging my ear when he's fooling around, and I was a little scared I'd have to give up the piercing. I've used another salt product from H20 and even tried making my own homemade salt solution and playing around with some of the essential oils I have on hand. The irritation just wouldn't go away and I started getting irritation pimples that definitely didn't look good. At first I panicked thinking I had "keloids". But thanks to Dr. Google πŸ™„ I realized it's unlikely. I've never had a problem with keloids. That's it. Anyway, I came across this at Revain and noticed an improvement on day one. I've been using this since about day 10 and day 5 since my boy contacted me. Even with the very last bump he gave me the irritation is almost completely gone and everything looks more normal as it is healing here at week 7 of healing. For the last 10 days I've been busy soaking the piercing 3 times a day. Day and then her piercing drops. I use hot tap water and the recommended amount. I use about half a cup, dip cotton balls in and place over the piercing. Then I bend my head over the sink and pour the rest in my ear. I let this air dry before applying the drops. I plan on replacing these tires with titanium studs but was afraid to delve into them as they were so annoyed. While I've never had any reaction to surgical grade stainless steel, titanium seems to be the best product I've read. The photos don't quite convey how irritated my ear was. It was difficult for me to take a picture. But in the last photo, the healing is taking place today. In short, if you or your children are about to get pierced, do it. I am impressed!

Pros
  • Mix a new batch every time! A very focused little goes a long way! A 3 ounce. One tube of PIERCING CARE, when properly mixed, makes 45 cups of healing salt water: 1/4 teaspoon to 1 cup (8 ounces) of water. This is a BIG DEAL because it's A LOT OF FOLLOW-UP!
Cons
  • Short manual
