Better use a butter knife
I was pleased with this item on my first use. On my second use, the blade slipped right out of the handle when washed, but I was able to put it back in very easily. Then, on my third use, the blade literally buckled as I tried to cut through the soft plate vessel. That's how weak/thin is a metal blade. I expected it to be more durable for $5.80. No big losses. Although I wouldn't buy it again. In the future I will use a butter knife or a frosting knife.
