Lights are fairly bright when no other light source is nearby. Since they distract me a bit from driving, I added a 12 volt dimmer instead of the standard toggle switch. Press the button once and the light will turn on. Hold to dim the light. Release, press and hold again to lighten the image and then reappear. A short press turns it off. Super easy to use and great price here at Revain.
