This is just so beautiful. It is metal, making it the sturdiest light cover in my house. The design is beautiful and adds an elegant look to the room. It was easy to install BUT, my light switches must have been crooked or something because I still can't get the outlet screw installed (maybe the screw is too short?) It hangs just fine without it, but it would look nicer with the screw there. Overall, it is a beautiful piece and a great price for the quality.

Pros- thick metal, neat engravings, polished farmhouse look, good quality materials, easy installation, matches priceCons- don’t buy the used version of this! First one didn’t have enough mini screws, second one I got was bent. Had to combine screws and return the defective one. They took it back which was great, but the quality checks on this product used aren’t great.

Heavy duty-so much better to choose this rather than those plastic plate covers (existing was cracked and in a TERRIBLE MESS!)

We remodel roughly 6-8 houses a year. This year we have started using these AmerTac English Garden light switch plates for those houses. I always say these are one of the cheaper ways to rejuvenate the look of a room or house as a whole. I've seen people look at a room with no changes except these light plate switches and they're stuck on trying to figure out why the room looks so different. This was the finishing touch to a room that was repainted and got a much-needed face lift with new curtains as well. The wall plate was installed with a black on/off switch and it looks fantastic! The room looks classy and changing out the wall plate was easy and shows the type of attention to detail that has earned us many compliments.

They look beautiful in my kitchen. The detail on the design of lovely. I did not have any problems with scratching during installation.

These switch plates are darker than I expected. I used a sanding sponge to bring out the lovely brass undertones and smooth out the sharp edges.very happy with the results.

I love this switch plate (I've ordered several rom various vendors for the entire home). The color bronze goes well with other hardware in the home, like the oil bronzed curtain rods I've reviewed, for example. After having a wall painted something other than contractor white, the cheap white wall plate looked awful. This plate is very heavy duty, well made and beautiful. A great value for a very reasonable price.

These appear darker in person than the photos indicate, but they are absolutely beautiful. I have them throughout my main floor. I have black stainless steel appliances and two tones pulls on all 48 door and drawers. These wall plates really completed the stylish look I was going for.
