ARRIVED AHEAD OF SCHEDULE

I AM DOING A NEW LANDSCAPING JOB USING ONLY 6 4WATT LED SPOTLIGHTS THIS TRANSFORMER IS PERFECT. IT WILL ALLOW FOR FUTURE EXPANSION. I CURRENTLY OWN A 150 WATT TRANSFORMER JUST LIKE IT. IT HAS BEEN TROUBLE FREE AND DOEN'T HAVE TO BE RESET WITH THE TIME CHANGE.

Let there be light good for me

I have three palm trees in my front yard. The LED timer burned out when a beetle wedged itself into the box. I had the box and it arrived two days early. Let there be lights baby. Yay!Thanks a million.

Defective Unit, out of box.

It's a 12 volt converter. This one measured 5 volts and should have been 12+ volts, right out of the box. It was not a perfect shipping container when I received it. Appeared to have been used, returned to ebay, and re-sent to me.

Does the job to keep my lights on dusk til dawn.

Got this to use with these lights I also purchased on ebay. So far works great, i have it set for dusk til dawn. That's my review.

150W 12V Timer will work in place of the 88W model

Lightning strike took out my original 88W 12V photosensor timer. Vendor shipped the 150W version in place of the 88W and it works great! Same timer dial layout as old model. Working great so far.

  • The photo sensor may cause the lights to turn on or off at the wrong times

Good quality item on my review.

This is a good replacement for the unit I had for 20+ years that finally gave up. Very sturdy and made with quality in mind. Although not so important, I wish timer controls also offered more precise settings.

Failed within 10 hours. Zero output voltage on all settings, including manual.

Unit worked as I tested it using a multi-meter. Didn't come on at dark on auto. Won't come on even on manual. Tested it again and it's now putting out any voltage. Piece of crap. Note that it is made in China.

Works Great for my opinion

Was going through 100VA transformers, bumped up to the 150VA as I was using about 90. This one was same fit but should handle the load better and hopefully last longer. Easy setup and install.

Low Power, Good Lighting

We got a solar panel system installed which made us look at energy consumption. We still had a 600W power supply driving our incandescent system of yard lighting. 20 year old time to replace. This 88W system with LED light gives even more illumination while using much less power. We looked for warm LEDs that would go into the existing fixtures and wiring. Very happy.

Broke after 6 months

Broke after less than one yearI have a Malibu Brand from Home Depot that has lasted 12 years outside no problem.Not happy with this purchaseHave to replace it

Great so far - my new review

Update #2 All 3 units have now failed, right around the 16-month timeframe. Photosensor fails first.UPDATE Failed at 14 months' now we'll see how long the other two last.Had it for a year and now adding another

3 year lifespan good for me

This is the third one of these I have bought. They work great for a number of years then quit. Could be the damp enviornment here in the Pacific Northwest that takes them out. I should get a different brand but this works well when it works.

Not a very durable unit

I would not recommend this unit. At 3 months past the 1 year warranty the unit quit working. I could have bought a cheaper unit but thought if I spent a little more it should last a while. I am very disappointed with this unit, it come on for about 1 min than goes off for 1 min, then repeats that cycle for 8 hours. Going to Menards and buy a replacement.

I like the different settings and options. Good quality and price a lot cheaper then local large home improvement stores. Great to shop at ebay and save money.
