Halo recently recalled a product due to moldy food causing mycotoxin poisoning. Here is a link to the Food and Drug Administration's recall notice: [.] This recall was for a different product, but mold, as anyone who has ever lived in a humid climate can agree, is difficult to contain. While there can only be one official recall, that doesn't mean that only one of Halo's products contains mold. The question really relates to the amount of mold in the manufacturing facility and the toxicity in the feed. Because Halo doesn't post a review without warning customers, we lost a cat that we loved dearly. If I knew that, I would definitely switch brands. I'm pretty sure it was food. he was healthy, then he ate the last batch, then he didn't. Tested negative for pancreatitis at the vet and died within days. That's a sad story, but I don't want that to happen to your cat, so I took the trouble to write this.
