My puppy likes to chew on remote controls and destroyed the original remote for my LG Smart TV. I originally replaced it with the universal version of this remote but I noticed the difference as the buttons were awkward to press and the battery compartment never stayed in place. I then ordered this as an official LG replacement and am so glad I did. No settings, works right out of the box and now I hold it above doggy level! Worth a few euros more for the LG version.
