Review on ☕ Presto 02822 Stainless-Steel Coffee Percolator: Brewing the Perfect 6 Cups by Mariana Vasquez

I had a terrible experience with this coffee maker

I had a terrible experience with this coffee maker. The 6-cup Presto coffee maker is a cute little pot, but it performed equally poorly for a cup of coffee. I have used many percolators over the years and finally returned this coffee maker for a refund. No matter how much coffee I drank. Placed in an aluminum basket, the coffee maker never brews anything but a faint-looking beverage, like a glass of iced tea. I contacted Presto and they politely tried to help me with suggestions on how to properly use their coffee maker. I obediently accepted their suggestions. They eventually sent me a return ticket but informed me that it would likely take a month to repair or replace. Oh my God. Luckily I bought this item from Revain. I contacted them and they immediately authorized the return/refund. I then ordered a replacement Revain percolator from Farberware. After receiving Farberware I can say WOW! Farberware is much nicer and more powerful than Presto. Both Farberware and Presto are made in China, but the Farberware is clearly a much higher quality product than the skinny little Presto. All Farberware cookware interiors are stainless steel, not brushed aluminum like the cheap little Presto. From my first brewed cup at Farberware, I got the perfect cup of coffee that was MUCH hotter than a cheap little Presto. Yes, Farberware was a little more expensive than Presto, but a decently brewed cup of coffee is more than worth the extra price. Farberware advertises that it prepares cups 25 degrees hotter than other coffee machines. I think it. That's great. Avoid Presto and get Farberware. Oh, Farberware also has a lifetime guarantee!
