Failed to load media Now at 72 this is my second Bostitch 3 1/ 2" frames since 1985 when I added 41 feet to my Long Island, NY home. It has a safety feature that requires you to pull and release the trigger before you can shoot the nail. With the Bostitch I had in 1985, you could hold the trigger and just hit the tip of the nailer where you wanted to drive the nail. I suggest buying 8d galvanized nails for the sheathing, you may need to reduce the air pressure to around 100psi. for 8d and 120 for 16d nails. The nailer isn't too light, but if you're strong enough you can hold the gun with one hand. This is useful when working alone, like I do, and when making or securing a wall with a two by four joist. You can build walls on a flat build deck. Simply pre-cut all the sleeper plates, bolts, pliers and lintels, then use the chalk line attached to the decking to line the walls and drive three nails into the bottom of the sleepers. Check out my HD videos on You Tube 331 many of which are about building my barn at 72.
