I used to buy this cat suit (old Maxx version) for my cat who needs 24/7 supervision but definitely needs to be comfortable. This suit has a Velcro strap and two bulky buckles on the back. The weird thing is that these buckles are bulky, plastic, and covered with a piece of fabric. For what reason? They make it difficult for the cat to sit comfortably because it sits on hard plastic buckles. Does it make sense? Also, this costume has a belt that wraps around the stomach. If the cat has just had surgery, do you think she will be fine? The old Maxx cat suit was plain and simple, with two button flaps to close at the back. Ideal. Short sleeves and high collar. Simple and easy to put on and take off when your kitten tries to attack you. I do not recommend this new Maxx cat suit. This is bad design!
