Here are some things you might want to know:

First of all love it, works great. When I originally ordered I wasn't quite sure what I was getting, so here are a few things you might want to know: • It's basically a hard plastic hoop with a soft cloth cover. I paid about $22 which is a good deal considering others are just selling a piece of hard plastic (no fabric, no wedges, no ball) for about the same price • I definitely wouldn't want to use this item without a fabric cover . In fact, if I have any complaints, it's that the fabric isn't thick enough, especially around the ankles. But you can easily stuff a piece of foam anywhere for extra padding. • Yes, the cover is removable for washing. But it also doesn't seem to get dirty that easily. • Don't worry about size. I have XL (men's shoe size 12-13). But I suspect Big would work well too. My calves are very muscular, but everything just fits. Actually it can be a little big, but no complaints. • This works with either foot, left or right. There is one in the package. • This thing is big. It's rigid (doesn't fold) and comes in a large box. But he is easy. • I sleep in it and try to wear it when I'm at my desk or watching a TV series. You can't walk in it, it's not designed for that • It doesn't quite reach the 90% angle. In fact, my heel doesn't touch the ground. But that's ok, it still works. That's what wedges are for. • Wedges are great. At first I wasn't sure if I would use them, but actually they are simply necessary. If you have plantar fasciitis, brace the front of your foot with one or even both wedges and try to place your foot at an angle of 90% or as little as possible. This will help stretch the injury further. • I'm sensitive to latex and it doesn't bother me. I can't guarantee it's latex free, but it doesn't have any stretch (where latex would normally be used). It has a dual purpose. The first is to end your injury. In case you do not understand what a plaster cast and edema are. When the body is injured, it sends blood to that area (swelling) to keep the body part nice and strong so it can heal. If you are splinting a body part, hold the body part in place and allow the swelling to go down. Second, it holds the foot at an angle to straighten the heel (for plantar fasciitis or other plantar injuries). Plantar fasciitis is often an injury from inactivity, an inability to stretch the soft tissues on the bottom of the foot (or living a sedentary lifestyle for 5 days and then overactivity like jogging). Therefore, resting foot extension is a passive way to activate this soft tissue. Much luck!
