I have two of these and am generally happy with them but they can easily be made 5 stars with modifications. The first one I ordered uses fabric velcro for attachment. The straps are long enough to wrap around the leg and the Velcro attaches near where the straps attach to the brace. This will prevent the straps from stretching the back seam of the boots. Four years later - update to original post I haven't had plantar fasciitis in the last 4 years but now I have it again so I put on my Vive Night Splint splint which really helps, for an exception.
