Bought this for my keyboard as I plug and unplug it everyday so I don't leave it on my desk. Wear should be prevented. Functionally, I don't notice any difference between this cable and a pure USB-C cable. It turns on very well, there is no noticeable input lag and it supplies enough current for the LEDs. Worked so well I bought a second one for my other keyboard and I've come back to get extras for the various devices I plug and unplug a lot. The only criticism is that the magnet/fit tolerances could be better. With the cable shown in the photo, it is easy to touch the cable, which temporarily disables the keyboard. It seems a bit pricey for a basic adapter, but is in line with comparable product prices, so maybe there's some kind of circuitry that's driving the price up? A tighter machining tolerance to keep the pins from getting out of alignment as easily would raise this to 5 stars.
