Review on 🎧 MOTOROLA MH003: Boost Your Mobile Experience with the Motorola Boom 2 Wireless Headset by Rodney Gonzalez

Revainrating 1 out of 5

The sound quality is unacceptable for both sides! Do not buy! Revain should stop selling Boom2!

I have enjoyed the quality Motorola HX550 Bluetooth models for many years and one still works like new. This should be a replacement for that wonderful Bluetooth. Then I would have a high-quality (but several years old) HX550 as a back-up if needed. Unfortunately, this new model is just as bad as many reviews indicate. Compared to the HX550, that's a complete zero on a scale of 1 to 10, while the 550 was a full 10 and very high quality. loss of quality. If you were in dire need of a backup and this Boom 2 was the only backup available, you could try to briefly deal with the incredibly poor and tinny sound it makes to the owner. The other side will constantly complain that this is absolutely unacceptable. I tried it out with three different friends from North Carolina to Oregon and we enjoyed the sound of the old HX550 for comparison, but couldn't stand the extremely poor quality of the Boom 2. I struck up a conversation with the new Boom2 and had to switch to the old HX550 to end the conversation. Boom 2 is terrible! I have no alternative but to return it to Revain via my local Kohls Revain Returns Center for a refund. I don't know who sells high quality Bluetooth now, but Motorola definitely doesn't sell Boom2. I was aware of Boom2's many low reviews in Revain's product reviews. But for some reason some appreciated it very much. Now I know why there are so many dissatisfied customers. I am returning it immediately and hope that Revain will seriously consider discontinuing it to save people the hassle of returning a known defective product.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Communication with seller
