Just works best in portable audio and video
This is an easy and inexpensive way to keep the factory stereo/CD player in my car, which has some very nice features (like automatic volume reduction when slowing down) and audio controls, and also use my Android phone as a music player/audiobooks etc. Can be used to connect audio when kids watch video from behind on tablet. It's certainly not the same as installing a secondary stereo or a professional input line, but it still works pretty well for me, and it's a fraction of the cost.
