Thinking not to be too harsh as I wasn't expecting much from the sound quality but the unit barely lasted 5 months with very limited use before it broke. Unless you are desperate I would skip this product.

I bought this because my 2004 convertible only plays CDs and Cassettes. The music was good but the voices were slurred. I liked that you could make phone calls through the car speakers. I sent this adapter back and spent more money on another one.

I found it difficult to use with my iPod (reason for purchase). For some reason he hits or misses and sometimes doesn't play. I don't know if it's a cassette or something in my iPod, but it doesn't work like I hoped. When this works, the sound isn't as good as we'd like.

I don't know how to describe it other than "total surprise". My expectations were very low. Besides, who makes good cassette adapters anyway? It's as clear as if you were playing from any CD or MP3/4 player. I actually use this with my GalaxyS4 connected to a Bose cassette player in my car. Everything I can say is crystal clear. The sound is clearer than any CD I've ever played in a car.

This is an easy and inexpensive way to keep the factory stereo/CD player in my car, which has some very nice features (like automatic volume reduction when slowing down) and audio controls, and also use my Android phone as a music player/audiobooks etc. Can be used to connect audio when kids watch video from behind on tablet. It's certainly not the same as installing a secondary stereo or a professional input line, but it still works pretty well for me, and it's a fraction of the cost.

I had this type of adapter from another brand for 2 years until it broke. So I bought this one which was cheaper than the one I had. THIS ADAPTER WILL NOT WORK. Simply put, it wasn't worth the stupid $5 I paid for it and I'm getting it back.

The adapter came quicker than expected which is a plus but after a few weeks there were a few problems. First, I started hearing some kind of static in the background of the songs being played, and second, after about two weeks, everything stopped working altogether. Will have to buy another one, better quality. :(
