entire mechanical design entirely made in China. great concept but it's a constant struggle having to keep making adjustments (allen wrench screws are a pain in the neck of course) and eventually those screw heads get ripped off by cheap soft lead/metal. The forearm tension isn't adjustable, so you can't adjust it up or down. if you swing it left or right it comes loose quickly and you have to find the Allen keys again. It's durable but just not right and I should never have bought it but it holds my laptop well. I would not buy again
