Purchased 2. I have my XPS 13 which weighs just over 2 pounds. Works great. A bit exaggerated in my opinion. ROG Strix Hero III is a 17-inch laptop that weighs over 6 pounds. I'm sure he won't have any trouble holding it up. It's mounted on it. Not that the mount says he supports him, but it would be nice to be able to. The notebook gets very hot even when idling.

It's ok for a monitor, but not for a laptop

Originally aimed to buy for a laptop, but it's too weak, "shakes" when typing, but works fine for one Monitor. In one review, one person said it's impossible to adjust the throttle. Well, when you use it for the first time, you need to use some force, then it will work well. You cannot adjust the throttle until all the parts are connected as it is very difficult. If you are not in a hurry, you can buy the same thing twice cheaper on a Chinese site and wait 3-4 weeks. In my case, I needed it…

Forearm stuck in raised

entire mechanical design entirely made in China. great concept but it's a constant struggle having to keep making adjustments (allen wrench screws are a pain in the neck of course) and eventually those screw heads get ripped off by cheap soft lead/metal. The forearm tension isn't adjustable, so you can't adjust it up or down. if you swing it left or right it comes loose quickly and you have to find the Allen keys again. It's durable but just not right and I should never have bought it but it…

Good after fitting into monitor stands

I've tightened the tension as much as I can and my hand is holding my monitor - for a while. But within an hour or two it is completely gone and I have to pick it up again. This lever just can't hold its position. UPDATE: While I've adjusted the tension significantly, it turns out there's still room for more adjustment (how many times can that screw be turned?). I fired the last shot and decided to shoot the shot. screw until it comes out if necessary. After MANY turns, it stopped turning…

Bad design! fits monitor stand

The concept of this item was exactly what I was looking for. But the design is completely flawed. It should swing easily in all directions, which is what I wanted, but firstly it's a total disaster to assemble and secondly it has bolts with alanes all over it and you have to constantly adapt to all of its movements. It's too late to return it now. I'm out of money again. From now on you have to be careful when ordering Revain products. I'm the type of person who lets things sit too long when I…

Works great - supports blocking some ports

This mount works very well and supports my 15 inch Acer Triton 500 very well. This mount is an upgraded VESA 100 mount (and actually contains a VESA 100 plate) but uses a quick-release thumbscrew to switch plates, so I'm not complaining about the potential added benefit. It is very easy to assemble and very easy to move after assembly. I wouldn't like it in a monitor arm, but for a laptop that's still in use despite being in a desktop setup, it's really nice to be able to swivel it towards and…

Best budget laptop mount but has a few issues

Let's preface this, for the amount of money you're paying you probably won't find anything better. For a much better arm + laptop mount/tray, be willing to pay around $150 compared to $80 for it. Let's move on to the positives though: + Sturdy enough + Flexible/highly adjustable + Nice to look at (for the money) + Easy to assemble + Laptop mount looks solid + Doesn't feel flimsy + Cheap (in dollar terms) Cons: - Poor Gaps between shaft and underarm hole - Laptop holder doesn't allow side…
