The only problem I have is the instructions. I'm a spotting photographer and bought it mainly because of the price. I use a Nikon D-40 and the little pop up flash wasn't enough. I was advised to use a flash when taking photos outdoors to remove shadows. Well it does. However, I have no idea about the settings and have been experimenting with the TTL setting. Indoors in a dark environment, it's amazing. You will definitely see a difference. I'm still experimenting and I believe this thing will be amazing once I figure out the bells and whistles. Almost no latency when using fresh batteries. Does anyone know a good book for beginners who want to learn more about flash photography. i need something simple Don't go into all those crazy counts of feet from an object etc, sometimes there isn't time to sort through all that crap. Aim and shoot. Much cheaper than the Nikon brand and seems a bit much at the moment but I'm glad I bought it. Makes the camera heavier, but not a problem.
