If you have a small foot, then these socks are for you! The heel will not be mid-calf. I wear 5 1/2/6 shoes and they fit perfectly. I'm not sure yet if the socks are durable. I love these socks. The fit is great for little feet. Do you understand how difficult it is to find a sock for a small foot? I often buy oversized baby socks when I'm desperate, but baby socks are ankle short (because they're made for kids!). Socks typically come in sizes 5ft to 10.5ft and a size 10. (My daughter photographs all my socks. She wears a size 8) It's great to find socks that generally fit. They're a little loose, but 100% better than most socks. They wash well and I've had them for over a month now and the wash and feel is excellent.
