You get what you pay for

Arches Rough watercolor paper is my new favorite, but it's expensive. Given Windsor & Newton's reputation I decided to try this as it is cheaper. All I can say is you get what you pay for. It warps even before it's a block, and colors don't mix or manipulate as easily as with rough Arches paper. Don't waste money on it.

Pros
  • Cold pressed paper has a less textured surface and produces the lightest prints. Its increased surface area holds more color and rejects more light
Cons
  • Not sure
