This review is for GE #93121491, GE LED+ Dusk to Dawn Daylight Candelabra Base 2-Pack. I bought these bulbs to use in a lamp post outside using a circuit where I installed a photo sensor to turn the light on automatically in the dark and off during the day. 4 years ago, after installing a new lamp and tripod, I installed a photo sensor, which unfortunately failed after only 3 months. I bought another one but $34.95 isn't the worst. The installation of the sensor in a weatherproof housing with hardly enough cables is complex and takes at least 2 hours of my time. Unfortunately the sensor failed again - this time 6 months after installation. Another $35, a few more hours, and even more disappointment - because the screws in the weatherproof case broke off. Finally, I can no longer replace the photo sensor without replacing ALL THE COMPONENTS! Well, 18 MONTHS LATER IT'S NOT WORKING AGAIN! (3 different brands, all made in China) I left it for a few months because I didn't want to take a replacement and spend more money. built-in touch circuit; I had no idea they existed but when I saw this I knew it would solve my problems! I then researched various brands including those available at my local big box store. I ended up choosing the GE brand mentioned above and couldn't be happier! I knew the desired brightness and color temperature from the bulbs previously used in the fixture. These lamps were a bit brighter, but the color temperature was exactly what I wanted. And while previous lightbulbs didn't have a light-sensing circuit, they failed about every year. So far this GE flashlight has been running for 16 months ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEMS. Even if it were to fail at this point, I would happily replace it with the exact same bulb. I bought a multipack so I have a spare set if needed. I know you can't go wrong with this product. I never give a product 5 stars (nothing is perfect), BUT IF A PRODUCT DESERVES 5 STARS, THIS IS IT: GE LED+ Dusk Till Dawn, Daylight (5000° Kelvin), 5W Candelabra Stand #93121491. Incidentally, it is designed for outdoor use, but I use it in a weatherproof mount. As such, I cannot confirm its ability to withstand rainstorms, hurricanes, etc.
