This drive is formatted with MS-DOS (FAT). This is an old file format with strict file size limitations. The drive is very slow and unstable in terms of write speed. It varies (jumps back and forth) from 60 MB/s to 80 MB/s. Read speeds are faster than write speeds, but still fall short of the 200 MB/s advertised by the manufacturer. Read and write speeds are much slower than a typical modern flash drive. Reformatting the drive to exFAT improves performance slightly, but this drive will never perform acceptable by today's standards. There are too many more powerful drives to choose from in this price range. Try it (save your money).
