This is a powerful amplifier that delivers what it promises. It's cheaper than similar options, costing around $40. If you are interested in this AptX amp, I have not seen any ads that indicate if an AptX signal is being used. It might work, but I haven't been able to confirm it. Although I sent mine back because I was uncomfortable with how hot it got while idling. When I turned the volume up halfway, I noticed background hiss (thermal noise) in the signal during the quiet parts of the song. However, if you pause the music, the amplifier gate works in a second or two and there is absolute silence. This is probably normal for most, just not what I expected. This purchase taught me that not all Class D amps are created equal.
