Funny and protective case

I love new things. I hate a boring suitcase if it can be avoided, but it also needs to be functional. i really like this one. When not in use I keep it on my bookshelf and it looks like one of the books - I even wrote my name on it with a marker which makes it look even more like an essay book. It's nice and thin but still seems protective, but I haven't dropped this new iPad yet (and honestly don't plan on doing so just for research purposes :-)). I love that it has two different grooves that offer a few different viewing angles. One thing this case doesn't have is a good way to support yourself if you want to use your iPad in letter mode instead of landscape. So if this is the primary way you use your iPad, you may want to consider a different type of case. Since I mainly use my iPad in landscape format, this doesn't bother me. When using the "Letters" look, the case folds on its own so you can hold it without feeling awkward, it just doesn't have a good way of getting up in "Letters". You can leave it at a full 90-degree angle, but that kind of view is awkward - there's no way to get the angled view in "letters" unless you're holding it in person. Still, this case works great for me and I'm happy to give it 5 stars.
