As others have said, they are perfect for small portions when you just don't feel like a long stemmed white or red glass to relax in a chair for example, and traditional glasses I was actually looking for the small wine glasses used in the restaurant scene in The Godfather movie, but I couldn't find the exact glasses for the props, so I ordered them instead. I'm glad I did, I love them! The stem is 2 inches straight and the foot is about 2 1/4 inches wide. They hold exactly 6 ounces to the top. So 4 oz is perfect for those little jars. Also suitable for liqueurs. They are also very durable and not too thin. Should hold up well!
