Review on ๐Ÿ”ง U480 Professional CAN OBD2 OBD II Car Diagnostic Scanner: Engine Code Reader Tool - Enhanced SEO! by David Gonzalez

I was going to service the cooling system anyway, so that's a good reminder. It's been 3 weeks since I.

I ordered an OBD scanner on January 2nd 2018 - delivered on January 8th 2018. I have used it on a 2006 Mazda 3 with no problems. The OBD scanner does what the literature says: it reads and clears generic and manufacturer-specific diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) and turns off the check engine light. The Check Engine Light (CEL) on my Mazda 3 came on a while ago before I got the OBD scanner. Looking at various YouTube posts, I was able to remove the CEL by disconnecting the battery's negative (-) terminal and reconnecting it a few minutes later. This does not solve the problem of why the CEL light came on. However, if the CEL caught fire due to a loose gas cap, low fuel level, and other vehicle fluids, fixing these things will usually prevent the CEL from igniting again. For me, the CEL lit up again after a few months. and by then I had an OBD scanner and was able to diagnose it. 01/22/2018 I connected the OBD sensor to my Mazda 3. The scanner gave an error: P0126 02.01, 02.02. The OBD sensor manual (which comes with the OBD scanner) says: The coolant temperature is insufficient for stable operation. I decided to look further and someone kindly posted (on the Mazda 3 forums) all the DTCs related to the Mazda 3 and it says: P0126: Coolant thermostat stuck open to thermostat 2. So now I need to check the coolant and Service the car's heating system once the weather gets a little warmer. I was going to service the cooling system anyway, so that's a good reminder. It's been 3 weeks since I cleared the CEL with an OBD scanner and so far so good. In summary, for $14.67 I was able to diagnose a CEL problem without spending a lot of money at the dealer. Now I doubt the dealer has some pretty sophisticated diagnostic equipment, but I doubt they would come up with a better solution than the one I came up with.
