My boy loves these. They love how soft they are. You'll want to wear them all the time! I was looking for something like thermal underwear made out of silk (at least that's what we called them in the military) and it's a mix of a silky feel on the outside and a very soft fleece on the inside. The upper part of the leg is snug fitting, and the lower part is tighter so you don't have to struggle to keep them down when dressing or keep them underneath when playing. The legs also have extra material along the length, but due to the closer fit at the bottom, they don't drag across the floor. It takes a little extra work to get them up and running. I always have a waist problem as my kids are tall but very skinny. They usually need an adjustable waist to make it small enough or I need to make waist adjustments. Although they don't fit well around the waist they actually stay on the feet, they are comfortable for my kids and don't require any modifications. The top is also perfect for a loose, relaxed fit. Overall, this is the only part that really hugs my kids like their ankles, making them very comfortable. They retain that nice light layer of air that she needs to keep her warm. Only small pills remained on the outside after washing, but nothing that a razor couldn't easily get rid of. So happy with it I went back to buy more color options! Definitely worth the money in my opinion.
