It is not suitable for some new cars where the windshield pillar will interfere with the installation.

I bought 5 of these genuine blind spot mirrors for myself and friends. They are downright incredible as they reflect another car in your blind spot right next to you and behind your car. The only problem I had is that they don't fit cars with thick pillars. I had to lift the base just enough to remove the pillar with 1/2" x 1/2" pieces that I double sided glued to the mirror base and windshield.
