I've always had dry skin on my toes and feet. This has a lot to do with being a nurse on the floor so foot care is important. This glass file is the best I have ever found. I've used a pumice stone which gets viscous, used styrofoam sticks which left crumbs that irritated my feet, tried an egg file which worked quite well but couldn't get my toes right. Got the glass file, it's great! I can circle the whole leg with no problems. It is gentle around the toes and can remove calluses from the heels and outer edge of the foot. Soak and rub, done in no time. Rinse off light cleaning and use a nail brush to completely clean the file. Then sterilize and put away until next week. It's nice to have something that is so easy to use and clean. It also keeps my legs smooth enough to wear the hookless stockings around my toes and heels that I've always had to deal with. It's good if the legs are smooth, like a baby's.
