Let me start by saying that I bought this item on April 19th. Today 16.06. So I gave this product enough time to work. This panel just doesn't provide enough power for the Blink camera. I placed the panel on the south side of the house where it gets direct sunlight for most of the day. On the first day of installation I noticed that the camera was not responding. I got many messages like "camera busy" or "live view failed" when trying to check them. OK no problem, maybe it needs a day or two of sunshine to get going. Everything seemed to work fine during the day, but I've noticed that I don't get any notifications at night when I go to my car. When I tried to trigger a targeted alarm, I heard a click, click, click, click. For those of you who already own Blink cameras, this is the same sound you hear when your batteries are low and you're not getting notifications properly. That's how it was with the panel from the start. This tells me that the camera's panel just isn't supplying enough power. I decided to give him a month or so to prove himself. Fast forward to the present and I still get almost no alerts at night (when it really matters) and the camera mysteriously turns off today. It's mid-June and it's 90 degrees outside every day. The argument that the panel isn't getting enough sun is just not valid. After several attempts to restart the system, the sync module and the camera, I could not reconnect them to the network. I have two other cameras in the system that are still running on batteries with no issues. In an attempt to eliminate all variables, I tried putting the batteries back in the camera to see if that would solve the problem. Presto! As announced back online and works perfectly. moral of the story. After 2 months I went back to batteries and paperweights with solar panels. Save money and don't buy this product. It just doesn't work.
