Review on 🧊 Frost King FV30 Silver Foam and Foil Pipe Insulation, 2"x 1/8"x 30ft by Mike Dart

Have isopropyl alcohol and a heat gun if you're going to use this for soundproofing.

Let me start by saying that I used this for noise isolation, not what it was intended for. Should have listened to the reviews. The delivery was fast, everything arrived well packaged. It is very light and has 1 reflective surface. It is very easy to cut with a razor and can be trimmed while it is "mounted". Regarding the setup: 1) If I had alcohol (which is pretty hard to come by these days, if not more), washing the doors MAYBE be easier with it. I also used a 4 inch roll of wallpaper and didn't use a heat gun (it was almost 90 and I was in direct sunlight). The parts continued to fall off even after being screwed on fairly tightly. Even after the parts were attached, they weren't tight. Again, I think cleaning with alcohol would help a lot. When I closed the door and even when I was listening to music, there wasn't much of a difference, if any. If you are using this for sound deadening I would suggest using Peel n Seal as it is MUCH easier to apply, seriously deadens the sound and while not as cheap as this one, does the trick MUCH better. Note that I actually used the other 1.5 reels on the ducts where they're supposed to be used and they stick well and don't "fog" the vents. Seal.
