This object was not flat, it was strongly curved. It was sent separately on a pile of crumpled wrapping paper. Maybe it would be flatter if it lay flat in the box. Bought this UHMW to make backlash free table saw inserts. I don't think it will be satisfactory for this application. I heated the sheet with a heat gun and placed a heavy box on top while it cooled. Most of the arch is gone, but I'm not sure it will stay that way over time. Still not flat enough for saw table use. Attaching the cut sheet to a ribbed surface such as a table saw or router fence and mounts works best when the edges and corners remain flat. UHMW is a good product, the flatness is too unstable for my application. I can order a phenolic sheet of this size but it will cost a lot more. Actual sheet size was 1/8 x 11 3/4 x 23 3/4 inches.
