This is an exceptional product if you want smooth skin.

This is an exceptional product when you need a smooth finish. However, 1/8 inch thick material may warp. I have seen one unit skew 1 inch across a 12 inch width and another 1/2 foot skew across a 24 inch width.

Pros
  • Raw material
Cons
  • Some small things

Item received in fair condition, slightly warped but no problem. What I didn't like is that the sizes are off. I ordered 12x24 which is 11 7/8 x 23 7/8. Not a huge difference but I bought these sizes specifically for my project and this is the stuff I paid to use but didn't get.

Strongly curved on plastic

This object was not flat, it was strongly curved. It was sent separately on a pile of crumpled wrapping paper. Maybe it would be flatter if it lay flat in the box. Bought this UHMW to make backlash free table saw inserts. I don't think it will be satisfactory for this application. I heated the sheet with a heat gun and placed a heavy box on top while it cooled. Most of the arch is gone, but I'm not sure it will stay that way over time. Still not flat enough for saw table use. Attaching the cut…
