Molecular Polyethylene 🧪 Standard Thickness Tolerance Raw Materials Review

This is an exceptional product when you need a smooth finish. However, 1/8 inch thick material may warp. I have seen one unit skew 1 inch across a 12 inch width and another 1/2 foot skew across a 24 inch width.

Item received in fair condition, slightly warped but no problem. What I didn't like is that the sizes are off. I ordered 12x24 which is 11 7/8 x 23 7/8. Not a huge difference but I bought these sizes specifically for my project and this is the stuff I paid to use but didn't get.

This object was not flat, it was strongly curved. It was sent separately on a pile of crumpled wrapping paper. Maybe it would be flatter if it lay flat in the box. Bought this UHMW to make backlash free table saw inserts. I don't think it will be satisfactory for this application. I heated the sheet with a heat gun and placed a heavy box on top while it cooled.
