Pros: great suction, picks up on different surfaces, easy to assemble Cons: too thick handle and awkward shape, heavy bottom unit makes it difficult to maneuver quickly and light , poor maneuvers under furniture, follows him poorly causing him to pull. As a Dyson owner I was fed up with expensive repairs and was looking for a suction canister from a Dyson. The Bissell definitely has great suction, but the overall design is bulky and not meant for a petite woman. The handle itself is uncomfortable and awkwardly shaped. Despite being in great physical shape at 46, using it just because I have to "follow with it" and the ground unit can't easily maneuver under things breaks my back. Overall, I gave it a 2 because despite its strong suction, lack of maneuverability, awkward handle shape, weight of the base unit, and having to break your back to lug it around, make it a less than desirable cleaning tool.
