They work as advertised! I have maybe 4B hair and my curls come out so pretty! The products you use also play a big role. I'm still working on my nutrition plan. At the moment I use a leave-in conditioner, coconut oil and an oil blend to lock in moisture, followed by some natural styling gel or mousse. I will say that when it's wet or raining the style doesn't last long. Maybe just a day with a lot of work, because that takes several hours. Once you get the hang of it it becomes easy but time consuming due to the full head. I've slept on it twice and it's awful, you can't sleep. I also used a hair dryer and it speeded up the process. Haven't used it yet this winter, let's see how long it lasts. Not a wet, not a rainy day in the summer, it was enough for two or three days. I have both barrel curls and spiral curls, and I have to say I like barrel curls a lot more. The spiral was tight for me.
