You have to air it out, otherwise it will go limp!

initial filling. Filled up until the pressure gauge showed full. Tighten the cap until you hear a click as indicated on the fuel tank. The fuel tank was placed next to the engine under a shaded canopy. When I resumed work on my project two days later, the fuel tank swelled to twice its original size! The outside temperature here in Pennsylvania was between 60-80 F during the 2 days he stayed under the canopy. Apparently, a self-ventilating lid cannot prevent this increase. The plastic tank is now blown into an odd egg shape and doesn't sit flat. it sucks! If you buy this product, you need to buy a vent and drill a hole to mount it.

Pros
  • Automotive sandwich construction resists the pressure rise associated with closed fuel systems.
Cons
  • A few little things.
