I bought 3 Yekbee/Typepad keyboard cases for my iPads; One of them has a trackpad/touchpad. Worked great for a few months. But since then I've had some problems. Let me talk about the positives first: The battery life is about a week with my use (very good, in my opinion). The quality of the keyboard is okay. I can't type as fast on a keyboard as I can on a physical keyboard, but I knew for this price and small size there was a compromise. The hinge of the case is strong, holds the iPad well and can withstand daily wear and tear. use. If the case is on a soft surface or in your lap, she wants to lean away from you. Therefore, you must be careful how far you tilt it, and also make sure that your hand is always on it. The case holds the iPad very firmly. In everyday life this is excellent as it means it will hold the iPad no matter what. I think it will survive a fall onto a wooden floor and provide decent protection for the iPad. It should definitely be good on carpet. But I haven't had a single fall to the ground, so I have no real experience in that aspect. The downside of holding the iPad so tightly is that it's hard to get it out. So if you regularly need to take your iPad out of its case, this keyboard case isn't for you. I never took the time to find out if there's a way permanently stop the keyboard backlight due to color changes. By default, this is a light show that's distracting and frustrating. I have to keep pressing the colored button to stop this irritation. The Typepad case with the touchpad was the first to have an issue. It kept triggering keys that I didn't press. I made sure it was charged and re-paired the Bluetooth connection with the iPad (removed it from the Bluetooth pairing list and then re-paired it). I have no time for that. So I removed it and switched back to Yekbee with no touchpad. This other case hasn't been used for maybe 2 months and doesn't seem to be holding up. Because it doesn't hold a charge and only works for a few seconds at a time. (If I keep typing and pretending not to know it's not working, it prints about half the words I actually type on the keyboard.) Either way, this is a ridiculous feature. I am writing this review in December 2020. The non-touchpad one was purchased in March 2020. The one with the touchpad was purchased in June 2020. The third Yekbee I have was bought in May 2020 and thankfully it still works perfectly. But problems with 2 out of 3 of their products within 6-9 months is not encouraging. For these reasons, I cannot recommend Yekbee/Typepad keyboard cases. I am writing this review in December 2020. The non-touchpad one was purchased in March 2020.
