I've always hated putting cheap plastic frames on my car. I particularly dislike that they don't stick and make noise when my sunroof closes. I'm a minimalist and I don't want anything extra on my car. Even if I like a dealer or shop, I don't want to advertise it. This frame is well made with good materials. Inserting the plate into the flexible silicone is very easy. The small tool included in the kit is also useful. Installation on the car was easy enough. The rust-free hardware seems such that I don't have to worry about ugly rust. And the fancy plastic cup and cap close the clasp. VW has a strange front frame setup for my GTI. This product could be mounted on the carrier plate without any problems. But I might end up switching to a toe hook mount. I think this product will be a great solution there as the bracket is all metal. I'll tell. If you're going to buy plate frames, maybe you're "special" like me and you'll find that this neat and pretty frame is a good choice.
