Bought these as I needed a forearm guard. If they were bigger it would be 5 stars. I've used them with strong household cleaners and very strong laundry chemicals and they have never let me down. Be careful if you have long or sharp nails, as they are intended for catering use, not heavy housework, and can poke holes in them if you are not careful. But I always keep them with me. A very good use for them is to cut them into fingerless gloves, put them on and slip a work glove over them. Then get the poison ivy out of the backyard without worry! Just remember to turn them inside out and roll them up to throw them away afterwards (and throw those work gloves in the laundry!). I'm severely allergic to poison ivy and nettle and this has always saved me.
