Review on 🔪 Kuhn Rikon 7.25” Red Serrated Piranha Swivel Peeler - Efficient Kitchen Tool by Brooke Parker

Am Test Kitchen recommends serrated knives so I bought 3 of these including gifts because they were made in Switzerland (a la Swiss Army Knife). It's very sharp and easy to use BUT the company covers the blades with a sticky strip of clear tape with no edge or ability to rip it off to use without risking cutting your fingers! I used pliers, tweezers, scissors, soaked it in hot soapy water, a knife and a fingernail to try to remove it as it's just for safety. (There's a bit of irony here.) Nothing worked as it came off in pieces leaving sticky bits on the jagged edges that ended up in your food! Someone is about to cut their finger removing this tape and now is the worst time to be in the ER due to COVID. All Kuhn Rikon has to do is extend the tape with a safe edge to pull the tape off. Let's assume it was made in China, but that's a real security concern. Beware!
