This pump really met my expectations. I had a flooded basement due to showers in Colorado and left this pump overnight as all other local pumps had sold out. He was able to drain all the water from my basement in less than two days, it must have been over 80,000 gallons of water. The float works really well with this pump, as long as you keep it clean it turns on and off as the water rises, great. The pump got stuck in the pump a couple of times because there was a lot of dirt in my sump. All I had to do was take the pump out, disconnect it and get the rock out and I was able to get it working again. I am very satisfied with this pump, I recommend it to everyone. I've only had it for about a month and it's still working great. I don't know about the durability, but good work so far.
