This is a great set if you want to have lots of brushes at hand. However, I have to agree with other reviewers who mentioned that this smelled very strongly of chemicals straight out of the box. I'm currently airing it by placing it next to the living room window before washing the brushes and adding them to my makeup kit. However, the bristles of the brushes are very soft and the handles are made of durable material in a beautiful pink color. The leather case is also very soft to the touch and the perfect creamy color which I absolutely love! I was fighting between this set and this purple and black set of vegan satin brushes sold here on Amazon. I really wanted a case like this so I bought this brush set instead. And I'm not at all disappointed with my choice! I think the strong chemical smell is the only downside to this brush set; everything else is great!
