Use a razor instead.

Do not recommend this product. I've read other reviews of clothes tearing or stitching easily and after using them I can understand why. You'd better use a razor to cut the fluffy, it won't damage the clothes. I buy it for my winter wool jackets and cardigans. He pulls on the fluff to tug on a cloth attached to it. Definitely not suitable for clothing.
