I love sequin Christmas stockings, but the prices at Pier 1 and Kirklands are very high. I had a great idea to buy burlap stockings and decorate them myself. These stockings were great and even better for the price. If you want to make a DIY stocking for your family for your next vacation, I highly recommend it. I stuffed the bottom of the stocking with tissue paper to make the stocking appear fuller. The stars were purchased from Hobby Lobby and I hot glued 2 stars for the design. The gold band was also purchased from Hobby Lobby, I measured seam to seam and hot glued. They all have magnets on the back that I glued to the ribbon. I typed the name of each one to frame it.
