I wasn't impressed with this remote control at first as when I first put in new batteries it didn't work. I could also hear the batteries slipping in. It turned out that the springs holding the batteries were so short that not only did the batteries slide around, but they also didn't make good contact. I had to take a pair of pliers and pull the springs. It's working fine now, but you don't have to help it work out of the box (although there weren't any). But it's a cheap Chinese imitation so I guess you get what you pay for. It definitely works, but it doesn't quite live up to the original.
